Behind the Shop:
What began as a DIY birthday project for her sister became a business with a purpose in a few short months. After creating a pendant necklace of Barcelona for her sister, Meghan began making more necklaces as gifts. When it was suggested she sell them, Meghan jumped on board and opened her business in August 2014 to support the adoption of her son form South Korea.
After the completion of the adoption in May of 2015 Meghan knew that she would continue to create and support other families adopting. Today she assists those families financially through proceeds from her shop.

... in a nutshell!
A rough and rustic piece of Haitian sea glass that is about 1 inch long hangs alongside this Picture Turquoise handmade charm. The glass that Emmaus Glass Works uses in each and every centerpiece comes form the beaches of Haiti. Men collect the glass and get paid monthly. Their lives have been changed. By just merely purchasing EGW pieces you are part of a change in their world. Congrats! This work of art hangs from an etched silver ring which beautifully hangs from approximately 34 inches of light brown genuine leather. The back holds a rope jump ring and a hand-stamped, Sterling EGW tag to let you know who the maker is. In addition to making a change just with this purchase, let it also be a reminder to you that you can also be the change that you wish to see in the world.
Bold and Beautiful in sweet contrasting colors of brown and wonderful Turquoise this piece stands out for sure. A great piece of Haitian brown sea glass that measures in at around 1 1/2 inches is adorned with 2 different cuts of Turquoise. One is a stacking of 5 discs and the other is a bead topped off with a great splash of Swarovski bead bling. I love the crystal cuts they make. Both handmade charms and glass hang off a delicately etched brass ring. The necklace is long and lays just in the right place. You can double up on necklaces or let this be the Main Event. Approximately 34 inches of suede leather showcase this wonderful piece.
The beauty doesn’t stop in the front. Here at Emmaus Glass Works we want the beauty to capture the entire piece, even the back. Our oxidized copper, hand-stamped EGW tag hangs in the back off a rope jump ring and let’s you know who the maker is. Let this necklace be a reminder to you that you can be the change you wish to see in the world. It just takes you to step forward and go.
A sleek approximately 1 3/4 inch gorgeous piece of Haitian sea glass sits atop of a pretty steel butterfly. The glass is picked up off the shores of Haiti and is proof that anything can be transformed if the desire is truly there. This glass, once trash, is now a piece of a work of art. The glass hangs beautifully off an etched silver ring and genuine soft brown leather. Approximately 34 inches long. The handmade charm in front is Czech glass and adds a sense of class to the lighter colors. We haven’t forgotten to make the back cool as well. Here at Emmaus Glass Works we like the entire necklace to have our touch. The back holds a rope jump ring with a hand-stamped Sterling Silver EGW tag. You can change the world You can change the world when you take that first step towards the dreams that are set before you. Be the change that you wish to see in the world and others will follow.
We all love for things to be one of a kind… and we certainly as human beings are DEFINITELY one of a kind. Here is your chance to wear something that is just that as well. An opaque, 1 inch, piece of Haitian see glass adorns the front of this sweet steel butterfly. The hand-made charm in front is a triplet of Brown Obsidian and brings out the brown and rusty colors of the piece.
These one of a kind charms hang off a detailed silver ring and fall gently off genuine deer skin leather. Length is approximately 34 inches. The back is as detailed as the front. Here at Emmaus Glass Works we think that is important too. A rope jump ring hold a Sterling silver, hand stamped, EGW tag. Each tag is slightly different than another and proves that each piece is 100% unique. Be unique yourself and make your unique mark in the world.
A stunningly large piece of Haitian sea glass that measures in at around 2 1/2 inches sits on top of a gorgeous large metal butterfly. The contrasting colors of the darker butterfly and the large opaque glass bring your attention the the 2 hand-made charms that lie in front. One is a rugged, squared off seashell that boasts some cool earthy tones and the second is a stacking of Indian metal beads.
The simplicity of one charm accents the details of the other. Just like people EACH person is different and each person has their particular gifs. Let your gift be a blessing to another and make a positive change in the world each day. This work of art all hangs off of antiqued ball chain and is 34 inches long. Detailed in the back with a hand-stamped, oxidized copper EGW tag.
